HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD / Beatrice Film, Films Dara - 1980

Here's another wild Euro Zombie flick, this time a chemical leak at the Hope Centre in Papua, New Guinea (an organization devoted to feeding underdeveloped countries) turns its staff into flesh-eating zombies! A four man commando squad is sent to investigate, they run into a TV news crew led by a female celebrity reporter and discover that the entire country has been overrun by the undead...

The original title is VIRUS, other alternate titles include ZOMBIE INFERNO, ZOMBI 4, NIGHT OF THE ZOMBIES and ZOMBIE CREEPING FLESH.

Welp, the dummies at the research facility cause a leak of some really bad chemicals... In fact, it's so bad that it turns the workers into a bunch of crazy zombies!

Then, we meet our news team, the female celebrity reporter and her boyfriend, the cameraman. Here, they're trying to assess what's up with all the zombies roaming all around the danged countryside.

Our sexy reporter has a whole back story, she strips down and leads the commandos into the deep jungle to visit her cannibal friends from her past for clues to the mystery.

There are lots of tasty treats to chow down on there, like stuffed intestines and eyeballs with maggots from a creepy cooked corpse... Yummy!!

This animated commando is doomed and about to become a walking dead hisself!!

The slaughter of humans just keeps on getting worse. It won't be long before this dude joins the ranks of the undead too!

Well, to stop the zombies, you either have to shoot them in the head or light them on fire!

It's starting to seem like the crazies just can't be stopped!

And, they're right. Here, our female reporter gets trapped and a zombie crams his hand into her mouth, pulls out her tongue and pops her eyeballs out of the sockets!!.. You can't win them all.

So, join us again tomorrow for more, from... The Dungeon!!

Wishing you guys a pleasant weekend...
Never heard of this one .. (even from early issues of Fangoria)...
we were trying to keep up with All Horror films in 1980... So, we were usually informed on any low-budget production.. And you guys make some really great posts on these "lesser-known" Horror films... Thank you again...

Hi Doc - Found this one on a double feature with NIGHTMARE CITY from Blue Underground on Amazon, I'm always scanning titles there - Glad we could fill in that blank, and, a great weekend to you too...
